OST Mayo 2009 special feature: Power Ballads

Un tema que estaba pendiente de tocar en los OST´s.

Segun la Wikipedia: A power ballad is a type of song typically characterized by having a slow tempo, long voiced notes, electric and/or acoustic guitars, and deemphasized percussion and bass. Some sections of the song may include strong percussion and bass that are more typical of the hard rock and heavy metal genres for increased emotional effect, and often the electric guitar comes back in the song's climax. Common power ballad themes include (but are not limited to) emotional pain, need, love and loss.

Que seria del mundo del Rock sin las power ballads?...probablemente uno mejor, sin embargo nunca lo sabremos. En fin, nada como rockear DURO con una power ballad a todo volumen, asi sufriendo re chido, con chile y limon. Sientanse con la libertad de sugerir las de su preferencia pa la lista, yo aqui pongo algunas de mis favoritas:


1. Skid Row/I remember you ----------------> a huevo!!!, a poco no es verdaderamente para rasgarse las medias?; ahi les dejo nomas la entrada: Woke up to the sound of pouring rain, the wind would whisper and I think of you...
2. Ozzy Osbourne/Mama, I'm coming home --------> hasta el principe (del averno; no me referia a Jose Jose, nopales) tiene power ballads
3. Aerosmith/What it takes ------------> Top ten
4. Poison/Every rose has it's thorn -------------> por su pollo no podia faltar, no seria una lista decente de power ballads sin ella
5. Kiss/Forever ----------> jajajajajajaja, pinche cancion compuesta por...MICHAEL BOLTON!!!, asi las cosas señoras, power ballad prototipica (por cierto, VH1 la puso como la 3er peor cancion del Rock)
6. Extreme/More than words
7. Motley Crue/Home sweet home
8. Guns n' Roses/Don't cry ------------> tambien Top ten
9. Metallica/The unforgiven
10. Def Leppard/Love bites
11. Bon Jovi/In these arms ---------------> estos weyes si se la superjalaron, pero bueno, hay como 765 894 power ballads distintas de Bon Jovi...good business for them
12. Audioslave/Like a stone -----------> Top ten tambien
13. Evanescence/My immortal ------------> I loooooooove her voice, 2 thumbs up!!!
14. Heroes del silencio/La chispa adecuada -------------> tambien en español se rockea señoras, esta de verdad que es chingonometrica
